SeaWatch®

MARITIME SITUATION ANALYSIS

SeaWatch® is a maritime security solution dedicated to the surveillance of sensitive areas.

It is designed for players who want to control their knowledge of coastal approaches or sensitive areas such as commercial ports, military harbors, offshore or wind farms, or marine protected areas.

The SEAWATCH solution is an innovative development for real-time monitoring and control of maritime traffic. Interconnectable with multiple sensors, the solution analyzes ship behavior and identifies any abnormal or suspicious behavior.

SEAWATCH generates alerts which are then transmitted to stakeholders via WhatsApp messages, e-mail or directly to users on the water via cooperative beacons or AIS/X.

Use of artificial intelligence (AI)

Integration of a hybrid rules engine, to “understand” the meaning of alerts.

User-defined rules automatically parameterized by AI.

Adaptation to the real situation in the field requires a learning curve of around ten days (or several months, if seasonal phenomena are taken into account);

Image analysis for complete visibility of maritime traffic: Detection and recognition of ship type and positioning.

Coastal monitoring

SeaWatch is a modular solution for covering coastal approaches by adding sensors (radars, cameras, AIS stations). Additional sensors can be added at a later date, and are simply connected to the SeaWatch server via the Remote Sensor Box.

The scope and performance of coastal traffic monitoring depends on the sensors deployed, and can range from monitoring a single bay to an entire coastline.

Existing sensors can also be connected.

Commercial port surveillance

SeaWatch monitors ports and their approaches, detecting threats to maritime security. Alerts are shared with those in charge of port surveillance.

Cameras detect ships and identify ship types.

Monitoring wind farms

SeaWatch enables the surveillance of offshore wind farms, detecting and tracking any vessels in and around the area.

Alerts are raised and shared in the event of any infringement of regulations applicable to navigation in wind farms.

Offshore field monitoring

SeaWatch monitors offshore fields, identifying any threat to the safety or security of installations.

The identification of cooperative vessels makes it possible to distinguish which vessels are authorized to approach the installations (“badge” function).

Replay allows a particular event to be exported to an actor who does not have access to SeaWatch.
